Candidates Paling Around with America Hating Terrorists

Sarah Palin is the VP candidate who scorns Obama for working in the same place as an ex "terrorist" name Bill Ayers, who 40 years ago belonged to a group who bombed monuments and buildings to protest the Vietnam war when Obama was 8 years old.
Sarah is married to Todd Palin who from 1995-2002 was registered to vote as a member of the Alaskan Independence Party whose conventions Sarah Palin would often address admiring their "good work".
The Alaskan Independence Party was a group that called for Alaska's secession from the United States and headed by a guy named Joe Vogler who ran for Governor in 1974. The AIP, at least at one time, had over 20,000 members.

Vogler had been quoted as saying the following:

"The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government. And I won't be buried under their damn flag. I'll be buried in Dawson. And when Alaska is an independent nation they can bring my bones home."

“My government is my worst enemy. I’m going to fight them with any means at hand.”

“When the [federal] bureaucrats come after me, I suggest they wear red coats. They make better targets. In the federal government are the biggest liars in the United States, and I hate them with a passion. There comes a time when people will choose to die with honor rather than live with dishonor. That time may be coming here. Our goal is ultimate independence by peaceful means under a minimal government fully responsive to the people. I hope we don’t have to take human life, but if they go on tramping on our property rights, look out, we’re ready to die.” "

"President Roosevelt had involved us in a war. He had to do something to make Americans mad. And I speak pretty frankly, I call him the dirty rotten son-of-a-bitch communist traitor, because he had involved us in that war that we had no business in.”

Kind of makes Rev. Wright look like Bryant Gumbel doesn't he?

In 1993, the government of Iran invited him to speak at the United Nations about Alaskan Independence and American tyranny.

Weeks before he was to speak against the United States in the UN, he was murdered during a plastics explosive deal gone badly.

Perhaps this, and Keating is why McCain didn't talk about Ayers, who has never been convicted of a crime, during the last debate.

So, Governor Palin, are you sure you want to play the "palinig around with terrorists" card? It's obvious that your families views are the ones which don't fit with the mainstream American's.

The Regressives don't care. So long as the fear and the hate work.
No one (but a REAL dipshit) believes that this Palin cunt is even remotely qualified to be VP or prez, but so long as someone preaches the hate, they're OK with it.

Toad: Did I mention you might be delusional?

I'll also mention that I'm delusional, because I finally got you added to my blogroll. So you'd better start sounding more coherent.

So her husband wasn't part of an extremist, anti-American group who was allied with Iran and willing to use plastics explosives to get their points across but Obama is a Terrorist because he met a guy who did some bad things before Obama was even a teenager and lived in Hawaii 3000 miles away?? What am I wrong about here?

The AIP has moderated somewhat, and Todd Palin left the AIP in any case. Whereas The MArxist (Obama) was hanging with Ayers up to the point he started running for Prez and had to toss him under the bus (with all the other extremists). And then there's the book allegations.

Did a little more reading. The AIP doesn't promote terrorism. They seek legal means to further their goals. That doesn't sound like terrorism to me.

Plus, the more I read about the AIP, the more I like them in a sense. I disagree with much of what their founder said, but their goals appear to be along the lines of the libertarian point of view.

Oh, the AIP has moderated and no longer hangs out with Iran and seeks plastics explosives?? Guess what Ayers hasn't done in 34 years???

And no, Obama never "hung out" with Ayers; they didn't invite him over for BBQs or attend his childrens birthday parties.

No, Obama didn't have to throw him under the Bus when he decided to run for President. Obama left that board in 2002, the same year Todd left the AIP, before Obama even ran for the US Senate. So they have been disassociated for the same amount of time. The difference is that Palin addressed the AIP while she was governor, within the last 2 years and praised their "good work".

Try again.

The IRA doesn't promote "terrorism", they promote the removal of British control over Northern Ireland.

Anyway, why the plastics explosives? Groundhog problem?

Listen to what they say. You agree with that? You hate America? You think America reigns tyranny down on Alaska?

I know they never ended up bombing anything, the freak leader died before that could happen.

Ayers didn't kill anyone either and the Underground only targeted monuments and buildings and always phoned in the threats to ensure ample time was allowed for all the people to be evacuated. Not exactly Hammas is it?

Obama never praised Ayers actions, just the opposite, Palin praised AIP. Which to me means she hates America. If California had a similar movement you would all be calling them American hating terrorists.

This is what I get for commenting when I just came over to let you know about the blogroll.

I'm not going to defend everything every member has said or done. There are kooks in every party. But like I said, the more I read, the more I like the AIP. They don't seek to readically change the country, they seek the opportunity to, in essence, secede. Whether that would be legal or allowed, especially based on what happened last time states left the union, is another matter.

As for the association with Ayers, the only difference between him then and now is he's not actively attacking the USA. Now I'll grant The Marxist that he's denounced the terrorist activities. But there's more to this relationship than we've heard (like Ayers doing a little ghostwriting for The Marxist), and The Marxist very well could be lying about all of it. As I said way back, it's the pattern of associations that is troubling. I don't think I need to go into the list, but it's populated with radicals from his college days, to his choice of wife, to his choice of associations up to the point he drove the bus over them on the way toward the White House.

Now I know you agree with that mindset, so The Marxist is right up your alley. The connection Sarah has with the AIP, which is much weaker, is something I consider a positive. We're going to just have to leave it at a disagreement, because you're just going to quote things you and I have already both read.

One other thing: If Cali wanted out of the USA, I'd be glad to help them. :)

1st of all, without California there would be no Iraq war. Economically they would be the 11th largest country in the world and account for 13% of the US's GDP. Your taxes would be much higher if it weren't for California's contribution to the federal budget. In fact, it would be a bigger financial hit if California were to seceed than it would if all the former states of the confederacy combined. Not to mention they are the largest agricultural state in the union.

His wife?? She's a radical terrorist too?

So now Obama is lying about his limited relationship with Ayers? I like how its possible Obama is lying but when it comes to spending billions of dollars and thousands of lives, it never occured to you Bush could be lying about Iraq? It's convenient how skepticism tends to come and go depending on the topic.

A pattern? Over his 40 some odd years you have found one guy who has never been convicted of treason or any other crime, who 30 years ago was in a group that did some bad things, that Obama served on the board of two charities with? That and an ex Vietnam war vet volunteer who said some things that offended white people. You have two people...thats not a pattern that's a coincidence.

I can name a bigger pattern: Charles Keating, Rod Parsley, John Hagee, Fife Symington, Duke Tully, etc.

That's a pattern.

Toad: There's a point at which the argument just becomes an exercise in throwing opposing names and stats back and forth. That's when I usually give up and let the insane rant and draw their own conclusions.

Great, so you can admit that both candidates have at least met some shady people in the 120 combined years they have been on this earth and that meeting someone doesn't make a mark on your judgment; its what you do, and your actions which mark your character and judgment.

I am a fairly law abiding, average citizen but if I started going through the list of things that my friends have done, or how many times they have been arrested or how many of them are dead because of their decisions and some of the crimes they have committed, you would think I make Ice Cube look like the tooth fairy. The fact is that isn't me; I grew up with those people and some of those people were friends of friends or loose acquaintances, not actual friends. It doesn't mean I have broken any laws, robbed anyone, killed anyone, stolen cars, sold / bought crack/coke, spent time in jail etc.

Quite honestly, I surprised, with Baracks age and the fact that he hung out in ghetto Chicago, they haven't found more than they have. It takes a smart man not to get involved in the activities around you if they are indeed bad. Shit, for all I know, I have met Bill Ayers. I wouldn't have known him from Adam if it weren't for him being all over the news as of the last 6 months.

It's nothing but BS politics, end of story.
Which is why the much more intelligent Obama has avoided this type of campaigning. Because it's BS.
Oh, and Marxist?
I'd sure like to know where Obama has advocated the abolition of private property and all means of production moved to the state.
Oh, wait, that's Bush..
