So the one company on this list that actually pays US income taxes is the one who routinely tops the list of selling the cheapest products. The Exxon's and Chevron's of the world actually get money back from the government yet those savings were not passed on to the consumer...And the Teabaggers are complaining that the Federal Government taxes too much? These are some of the biggest corporations in the world. Looks like the federal government offers too many tax breaks, loopholes and credits as opposed to taxing too much.

According to the article,
GE got a $1.1 Billion refund. Surely they will pass that on to consumers
(maybe free 4 ft. neon shoplights bulbs?)...
".And the Teabaggers are complaining that the Federal Government taxes too much? "
It does, especially for small businesses and individuals. Not sure what is going on for the big businesses anymore. "Corporate welfare" used to be a bad term, now it is a strong pillar of the Obama administration.
Strong pillar of the Obama administration?? Are you trying to say that Obama is giving away more corporate welfare money than Bush or any other president??
See, that's where the teabaggers are wrong; he isn't.
He probably is. Obama has signed no strings attached bailouts. We used to call such bailouts corporate welfare. The stimulus bill was laden with such giveaways also. He's blown hundreds of billions on it already, and plans to do more.
No, The 700 Billion dollar bail out that went through in October of 2008 went on the 2009 Budget so in other words, 700Billion of the "Obama debt" actually came from Bush.
Sure, maybe democrats are the kings of welfare but Republicans take the cake on corporate welfare... Republicans love giving rich white people money.
Oh so you hate adding to the debt...I assume you also opposed Bush's tax cuts which added 2.2 Trillion to the debt and his Iraq war which added 700 Billion to the debt??
Toad; Money spent during Obama's administration is Obama money. He had the power to change it. Instead, he added even more waste spending.
"Republicans love giving rich white people money."
This proves nothing more than your own racism.
".I assume you also opposed Bush's tax cuts which added 2.2 Trillion to the debt and his Iraq war which added 700 Billion to the debt??"
Actually, Bush's tax cuts for all taxpayers resulted in overall increased tax revenues. They made the problem better, not worse.
Fighting back against the terrorists adding nothing to the debt: the total amount was a small part of the federal budget. And national defense is a legitimate federal expenditure.
Also, the total amount of 8 years of Bush's retaliation against terrorists is nothing compared to ONE year of Obama deficit.
However, there is a point to be made on corporate welfare. The bailout at the end of Bush's term?
It was the biggest dollop of corporate welfare in history. Bush signed it (and if he had vetoed it, he might have been overridden). The Republicans opposed it. Senator Obama supported it, along with the rest of the "kings of corporate welfare", the Democrats.
This was an example of Obama's "give hundreds of biliions to corporations" policy from when he was a Senator. He continued it into his presidency.
Obama didn't spend that 700 Billion, Bush did, it just didn't go on the Budget for 2008.
No, the Bush tax cuts, which benefited the rich the most, cost 2.2 Trillion. You need to stop lying about how Bush's tax cuts resulted in more tax revenues...It's actually pretty impossible you know...If it did, where did that money go?? See, you don't have the answer.
And if Republicans had opposed the bail out it wouldn't have passed through congress.
You are being lied to.
