I started this blog after the 2004 election to combat the rise of religous, "Neocon" conservatism which seemed to be on the rise during the Bush administration. After all the years of the Bush Crusaders, Intelligent Design, Prayer in Schools, Global Cooling, Preemptive wars, expanded government, increased debt, etc. That era is over; we have won! Since I no longer have Howdy Doody to write about, I don't know what the future of this blog will include.

I'm not offended when you say "Merry Christmas" but you are clearly offended when someone says "Happy Holidays".
